trust we have faith in our cars until they fail to start and start to turn to rust then we trust them no more so we change them
and this teaches us that things are not made to last
but this is what economies rely on and we all depend on something but our economy depends on the fact that our cars will need replacing along with our fridges and our freezers our washing machines, microwaves, computers shoes and our pants and our socks
but hang on.. what if we didn't need new things? they would invent new things for us to want
what if we decided we wanted less less pollution less stress less bureaucracy less hassle less government less tax no tax
maybe we would not bother to change our car maybe we would do without decide that we don't need it change our way of life
what if we wanted more more time more freedom
what if we decided we didn't trust government anymore that it had become less reliable turned to rust
we could change it or maybe we could decide we don't need government and do without it change our lives
maybe we would do without decide that we don't need it change our way of life * as far as i know government --politics and religion are all prophesied to end. they were temporary structures. allowed to demonstrate that man is not capable to govern his own steps.
Great image Dave. As for your reflections, very interesting, idealistic but necessary, and if everybody were conscious of the the idea that less is more I'm sure the Earth would at least last longer and be a more beautiful place with a large variety of flora and fauna.
A month ago I decided to reduce my eating of meat. I now try to limit my consumption of meat to weekends. I admire people who live out the philosophy of more is less, however it is very very difficult to go against the current.
