.not the greatest image
so why is it here?
i find it fascinating

it makes my eye follow the arrows around clockwise
and then settle on the left hand corner

i don't know if it does the same for you

there is a lot of symmetry
but it is unbalanced
unbalanced symmetry
now there is my concept

i used to try to make symmetrical images at one time
if i had an image that i liked but it was slightly off centre
then i would correct it and often found that i didn't like it as much

there is something intriguing about imperfection
especially when it is almost perfectly symmetrical
there is tension in that

and the tension intrigues us
as we check for what or why
we look for illusions sometimes

the concept of unbalanced symmetry is not unusual, is it?

" something intriguing about imperfection" ... an interesting line, it can be applied to much of our nature. this one will stay and haunt me throughout the day. it might even inspire something...

but it is good to look at the same old things
in different ways, new ways even

ways we haven't looked at things before
through someone else's eyes
we pretend to be philosophers
it's a game
someone somewhere pretends to be the president of the usa
