Not quite, but anime has run out of ideas.

anime has been exploited
exploitation is not art

if i were anime
and i'd been exploited as it had
i'd wish i were dead

it 'kind of' kills it for me

I do not fear death. When it is death, I am not, when I am, it is not death.--> Epikur

it's good, thank you  Christian

just  because i am not me doesn't mean i am not something
just because i am not here doesn't mean i am not somewhere

life and death are aspects of time
there has been much time
and we barely have any experience of it
time will tell
don't listen to what people say,
listen to what time says

if you are not you, you may be someone else.
if you are not you are not.
if you are not here you may be somewhere else.
if you are not you are not.

time is nothing.
time is nothing but the gap between two of my heartbeats.
time does not tell anything.

people tell things.
if people today tell different things than people told yesterday,
then people changed.
if people change, the world changes.

time is an aspect of life.

i love contradiction
it is always truth
no matter what it contradicts

i enjoyed your words
they were full
not an empty bunch of pleasantries

makes you different from the norm

and has been for a long time, so what's new, what's next, where is it going to go?  Can an "is" really die?

just a collection of words MJ
things we don't understand
can't explain
art, death
we still don't know what anything really 'is'

most people would associate death with 'isn't' rather than is

'this' is just a continuation for me
part of an ongoing thing

I got it.  To me, art (or anything) is like a punch in the nose, it depends on the relationship, the "giver" or the "receiver."  What "is" is always subjective.  "Is" is nothing but that.  I used to try to find the "real," that was a mistake.  The "trying" can get in the way.  Things happen, the reality is our relationship with it.  That is where all truth lies.  "The world" exists through each individual's physical and emotional experience.  Without us, "really is" is a mathematical equation 2(A X B) + 4(D+F) X .9999 =?  Are we mathematical equations?  In one sense yes.  I do not really consider myself an existentialist, but it's basic framework is pretty accurate in terms of "meaning."  We assign a value to things, "good" and "bad."  But if something "bad" turns out "good," which is it?

the relationship between the "giver" and the "receiver" is the connection, the link, the bridge

art is like a bridge
between logic and emotion
but when i said that art was dead
nobody cried

like when you click on a link
and nothing happens
we notice,
because we expect something to happen

after a while we stop expecting
stop clicking
accept that we are where we are
and that nothing changes
... it doesn't take long
we are programmed like laboratory mice

if we only use the links provided
and only cross the river by the bridge provided
then we are just sheep

we must either must create new links
build new bridges
or be laboratory rats

technology advances, but never has the functionality we require
because it is not designed to empower us
it just wants to observe us

We come at this from different angles.  One should hope that we stop "expecting."  Expectations can be obsessive, and painful if not realized.  The "programming" favors expectation.  Keeping us "expecting" is a form of control.  When you are not waiting for "A" to happen, "B," "C,".....can evolve forming those new "bridges."

if people didn't do what was expected
this world would be less predictable and boring
there would be no wars
because armies could not exist
people would just do what they though was right at the time

we survived like that for thousands of years

True, but I am really talking about the internal personal attachment to "expecting" and the eventual result.

so what is the difference between internal expectations and hope?
is hope the act of imposing will on the universe?

If we didn't kill our own art
we would do the same thing forever

but of course some things refuse to die

art lives longer than kings
and kings understand the importance of art
but for most, the king, as the ultimate celebrity
seems more important than art

for many, art has not been born yet

"If we didn't kill our own art" reminds me of the Zen saying about meeting the Buddha on the road and killing him.
